AlembicVariants: Alembic, Alembick, Limbeck, Still
An alchemical still that had several parts. The still, a cap and a receiver, along with mounting hardware to hold the still over a flame. Elvin's illustrations label what looks like a stand for the still as a Limbeck or Alembeck. What is labeled as an Alembeck is clearly wrong but like many things in heraldry wrong may have been copied so many times that in becomes the normal.
