Base-BarVariants: Base-Bar
A portion of the base of the shield equal in height to a Bar (ie. less of the base than a normal base), parted off by a horizontal line.
Notes:This description is confusing and we have not been able to find an example of this term in use. It probably indicates the base parted off in the same way as a chief, like a baste or plain-point perhaps just narrower.
