FasceVariants: Fasce, Fasicle
The same as Fess / Barry. Elvin dictionary from 1889 includes an entry claiming these are the same as Faggot (a bundle of wood). Fasce is a recognised French form of Fess and is more likely to be the intended meaning of Fasce even if the bundle of wood meaning was used at some point. Fascicle does have a recognised meaning of a bundle so if Fasicle may indeed be an old spelling of this word.
